See below for links to some useful websites where you can find a multitude of song. You will also be able to browse older versions of the group’s songbook.

Some fantastic resources:

Ozbcoz.com – also known as Jim’s – Jim Carey has pulled together an incredible number of songs that we have referenced extensively in our own songbook. If you register (free) on the website you can easily transpose each of the songs into a different key. Amazing.

KUBAS – a sister ukulele/banjolele group based in Pembury, their songbook has more than 300 amazing songs

Dr Ukes Waiting Room – lots of songs with chords provided and he provides a performance of each to play along

Austin Ukulele Society – they provide YouTube versions of their songs, plus chords, so you can play along – a great set of songs and it’s impossible to resist those happy smiling faces

Graham and Roz Hall post a lot of videos on YouTube, playing songs we know and love – and lots that are new. Worth checking them out – they make it look so easy!

Headcorn Ukulele Group (HUG) – a variety of songs and links to other songbooks. A useful resource if you’re looking for new ideas .

Each year, we take some of the less popular songs out and add new ones. This isn’t because the discarded songs aren’t any good, we just think there might be other songs that members will enjoy getting to grips with.
